North Sefton Coastal Teaching School Alliance is delighted to host a one day training event for Sefton secondary and Special School PSHE leads on Tuesday 20th June 2017 at Range High School. The content will be delivered by Anne Bell, Senior trainer at the PSHE Association.
The day will focus on those areas where effective delivery of PSHE supports the safeguarding duty of schools and up to date methodologies and materials for effective delivery of e-safety, including CSE and sexting, Sex and Relationships Education including consent and grooming, and Prevent.
We hope PSHE leads will be able to disseminate good practice to colleagues in their own schools, especially non PSHE specialists.
Following this session, we also would like to start regular network meetings of Sefton PSHE leads, hosted by the Teaching School, to continue this work.
