The National Award For Middle Leaders (NAML)

North Sefton Coastal Teaching School Alliance will be working in partnership with the SSAT to deliver National Award for Middle Leaders modules to develop essential leadership skills.

Completion of the modules will provide SSAT accredited recognition of your leadership development and professional achievement.

These modules are a pathway to 30 masters credits with the University of Nottingham.

Who is it aimed at?

Individuals with responsibility for leading a team including subject and pastoral leaders in both the secondary and primary sectors.

WHY NAML?

Part of SSAT’s national suite of leadership programmes, NAML is built upon the Middle Leaders Programme.

Evidence has clearly established that effective leadership is key to developing a world class education system. North Sefton Coastal Alliance and the SSAT are committed to supporting schools in creating the next generation of outstanding leaders.

WHEN WILL THE SESSIONS RUN?

The modules will run as twilight sessions. Each stand-alone module lasts approximately 2 hours. You can sign up to all ten modules, or select modules in order to build your own bespoke training programme. Whilst we envisage that most participants will complete their chosen modules within a year, there is no requirement to do so.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The Launch Information Evening is Free of Charge

Each module costs £40 per person and will be invoiced following the event.
